What You’ll Do:Ensure compliance with all statutory, company, and allergen safety regulations, including HACCP procedures.Take ownership of designated sections, supporting senior chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.Assist in managing all hospitality functions and core catering services, supporting the leadership team.Monitor the cooking, chilling, and storage of foods, maintaining accurate records and taking corrective action where necessary.Collaborate with core and hospitality teams to ensure all food production is correct and ready for service.Prepare food with care, paying special attention to customers’ dietary restrictions and allergies.Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to prevent service disruptions.Oversee stock rotation, ordering, and waste management, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.Supervise and train staff, promoting a positive working environment and maintaining high standards of food quality.Report incidents, near misses, and maintenance issues promptly, attending meetings and training as required.What You Bring:Essential:
NVQ level 2 in food preparationDemonstrate experience of working in a similar role within the service industry at a comparable level in a companyAble to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standardsAnalyse problems analytically, develop opportunities and implement innovative solutionsShow ability to set standards and operate to the service standard criteria HACCP awarenessTo demonstrate a flexible attitude to working hours and promote a positive mental outlook to all aspects of work Be respectful of others at all timesThe desire and tenacity to adhere to proceduresBasic Food Hygiene and Health and Safety CertificatesDesirable:
Proven experience of managing client relationshipsProven track record of leading, managing and developing a teamPersonal innovation and creativityTo show a hunger and passion for good food and the drive to make it achievableGood admin and telephone skillsFlexible approach to the role and be self-motivatedGood interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients and staffWhat We Offer:
