Job Overview Pillars of Lakeville is looking for a Cook/Chef to join our new Assisted Living/Memory Care culinary team! This creative position is responsible for preparing and cooking meals as assigned using standardized recipes to meet established culinary standards of high quality care. Role will plate food for optimal eye appeal to entice food consumption by our residents in our Senior Living Community located in Lakeville, MN. Supported by a Culinary Director and Culinary Assistants. This casual Chef position includes; Casual role to help with last minute or preplanned needs Weekends as Needed New Early Wage Access! The Pillars of Lakeville brings the best of senior care & living to the Twin Cities’ fastest-growing south metro community near Farmington. This beautiful new building will offer 100 senior apartments including independent and assisted living units as well as a carefully crafted memory care neighborhood on the first floor with a patio courtyard. Handles and prepares food in a safe manner following policies and infection control and safety standards. Ensure timely production and meal service is provided to residents Set up line service Clean and sanitize equipment and work area after each use Assists with special events Assists Culinary Director with supervision and training of culinary staff Performs other duties as assigned and directed Required Qualifications: Approved Food Sanitation Safety Course and Certification (must obtain within first 90-days).
