Chase Auto Compliance Officer VP

The Channel Strategy, Execution and Controls Group within Chase Auto Marketing covers marketing compliance, regulations, and marketing controls. Its mission is to deliver a framework and service that empowers the Chase Auto Marketing Department to generate and disseminate regulatory compliant marketing materials and communications in the most effective and timely manner to our Private Label Captive Finance (PLCF), Dealer, and Consumer clients. To achieve this, the team actively engages with other functions across the business, including sales, servicing and product. The team also retains a close partnerships with legal, risk, controls, and other compliance partners across CCB.

As a Chase Auto Compliance Officer VP within Chase Auto, you will play a pivotal role in protecting the business. You will provide advice and guidance on creating compliant communications that adhere to both external rules and regulations, as well as internal firm-wide policies. Additionally, you will assist with marketing-related governance issues, helping to establish effective and prudent practices that contribute to the long-term success of our business.

Job responsibilities:

Conduct thorough reviews of medium and high-risk client communications and marketing materials, including print and digital advertising, emails, direct mail, brochures, ATM and branch materials, and other external digital properties, to ensure regulatory adherence.Engage in the regulatory review process for globally distributed client communications to maintain compliance across all regions.Oversee the self-certification process for low-risk materials managed by the business, ensuring consistency and compliance, with guidance as the regulatory contact.Provide day-to-day, upfront regulatory advice to the business to assist in the content development of compliant marketing strategies.Prepare and deliver comprehensive marketing training sessions across the business, incorporating regulatory insights to enhance understanding of compliance requirements.Assist in ensuring that all business areas have appropriate policies and procedures in place to support regulatory compliance.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory environment and stay informed about evolving mediums and methods used in marketing activities, collaborating with the business ensure best practices.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing or other relevant professional qualifications8+ years of experience in a similar role either within the business, legal, compliance, controls department or within a regulator in relation to financial/asset management products and servicesExperience reviewing social media and digital assets.Experience working with a system-based asset review processEffective communicator with strong collaboration skills Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and priorities workloadAttention to detail and high level of accuracy and conviction are essential.Organized and efficient working well under pressure and within tight deadlinesAbility to work with our legal partners to draft and edit disclosures and footnotes as necessary

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Knowledge of federal regulations (TILA, Reg M, Reg Z, Rew W, UDAP, UDAAP, etc)Practical working knowledge of all asset classes and financial instrumentsExperience working with system and workflow tool and experience working within a large global organizationAbility to communicate decisions and work with senior managers
