Description Are you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable working independently? We are hiring a Chart Retrieval Specialist in the Wilmington, DE area for a 5-month contract position. As a Chart Retrieval Specialist, you will be an essential part of a data collection team, responsible for traveling to provider offices and retrieving medical records. This position offers a flexible schedule, mileage reimbursement, and the opportunity to work both in the field and from home. Position Details: + Duration: 5-month contract with potential for extension + Pay Rate: $19.50 to $21.50/hour + $0.70/mile (reimbursed from mile 1) + Location: Fieldwork within a 60-mile radius of Wilmington, DE + Schedule: Project-based (hours vary weekly); Monday–Friday availability required (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Responsibilities: + Travel to healthcare provider offices to retrieve paper and electronic medical records + Upload medical charts into a secure, password-protected system + Submit completed work remotely from home—no daily office reporting required + Operate scanning equipment and manage digital medical files + Maintain courteous, professional communication with provider office staff + Collaborate remotely with a team lead and fellow specialists + Ensure all assignments are completed accurately and within deadline Requirements Job Requirements: + High school diploma or GED + Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation + Strong computer skills (file management, scanning, data transfer) + Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic, Allscripts, e-Clinical Works, Nextgen) is a plus + Must be available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM + Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds + Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
