Three shifts a week 6:45pm - 7:15am with rotating weekends Department Highlights: * Active established UBC that collaborates with other departments * Pathway to Excellence Designation 2024 * 50% of ED RN's participate in the Nursing Career Advancement Program Here’s What You Need + Nursing Diploma Nursing is required Or + Associate's Degree Nursing is required Or + Bachelor's Degree Nursing is preferred + 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. is required + 2 Years Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. is preferred + 1 year Emergency department charge nurse is strongly preferred + RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required And + BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire is required And + CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days is required + ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days is required And + NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days is required And + PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days is required Or + ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course 6 Months is required And + TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course 12 Months is required + A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
