Charge Registered Nurse – Progressive Cardiac Care Unit – Full Time Nights

Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231

Work hours: Full Time Nights (7P-7A) Rotating weekends and holidays required

 Progressive Cardiac Care Unit Highlights:

Here’s What You Need:

·      Nursing Diploma required

·      Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required

·      BSN preferred

·      One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program required

·      Two-year strong Medical Telemetry experience in an Acute Care setting strongly preferred

·      RN Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And

·      BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

·      ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire 

 

What You Will Do: 
• communicate and collaborate with all members of the health care team
• support and actively participate in shared governance/councils
• committed to developing their individual knowledge and skills, as well as advancing the profession of nursing and engaging in lifelong learning/development.
• evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• directly assists leadership on a particular unit or units and shift, by offering staff guidance and support, maintaining a clean and safe work environment and ensuring unit operational tasks are completed.
