Job Overview: The Charge Description Master Pricing Analyst is accountable to provide senior level analytical support and project management to the Director of Pricing. Provides analytical direction to projects related to retail and managed care pricing models for hospital, physician, and continuum services. Develops and maintains a comprehensive database of competitor and benchmark pricing information to develop retail and reimbursement pricing strategies for Fairview's core services and/or service lines. Position Details: 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) no weekends! fully remote, salaried position Job Responsibilities: Design and plan analytical approach and perform analysis related to retail and managed care pricing strategy for hospital, physician and continuum of services. Perform benchmark pricing assessment. Collect and analyze competitor pricing data; identify trends and recommend action to the Director of Pricing Identify and coordinate data needed from Fairview data systems: TSI, EPIC, IDX and external data from MHA, CMS, Ingenix, etc. Collaborate with Corporate Reimbursement and department heads to implement annual aggregate price increase. Develop, maintain and collate internal reports related to retail pricing, i.e. exception reporting, changes to Fairview's CDM, pricing trends, etc. Facilitate understanding of pricing strategy, reimbursement methods through formal and informal education to internal staff and key contacts. Provide senior analytical support to special projects as needed. Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served. Required Education Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting, or related healthcare field. Experience 3 years in Finance, Accounting, or related healthcare revenue position Proficiency using Microsoft Excel Preferred Education Master’s Degree in in Finance, Accounting, or related healthcare field. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
