**Spiritual Care Chaplain**
**Loyola Medicine** , a member of **Trinity Health** , is a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago’s western suburbs. We are proud to serve our communities through a three-hospital system: **Loyola University Medical Center** , **Gottlieb Memorial Hospital** , and **MacNeal Hospital** .
We are currently seeking a **Spiritual Care Chaplain** to provide compassionate, professional spiritual care across our ministry. Join our team and become **Loyola Strong!**
**What You’ll Do:**
As a **Spiritual Care Chaplain** , you will serve as an integral member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. You will provide holistic support to patients, families, and staff, with a focus on:
+ Addressing spiritual and emotional distress, grief, and end-of-life issues.
+ Offering crisis intervention and support during significant life transitions.
+ Collaborating with clergy from various faith traditions to support the diverse spiritual needs of those we serve.
+ Participating in and developing programs that foster sacred, healing environments.
+ Responding to calls and consults across our facilities in a timely and professional manner.
**Hours:**
Monday – Friday, 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM
_Must be available for occasional weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts._

**What You’ll Need:**
+ Master’s degree in Theology, Divinity, Pastoral Studies, or related field
+ Certification or eligibility for certification by a recognized spiritual care body (e.g., APC, NACC)
+ Minimum 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
+ Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
+ Demonstrated ability to work with diverse faith traditions and cultures
+ Excellent interpersonal, listening, and crisis support skills
**Compensation:**
Pay Range: $23.18 - $35.92 per hour
_Actual compensation will fall within the_ _range_ _but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles._
