What your day will look like:
Develop and maintain an extensive working knowledge of Genetec's software solutions, including ability to create small- to medium-sized system designs with their associated BOMs Define product and functional requirements with the objective of preparing quotes based on customer requirements Assist in the development of tailored sales tools and related presentations as needed to help account sales teams successfully position, sell, deploy and use Genetec solutions Conduct product demonstrations and presentations Ability to cold call identified clients – either within the assigned territory’s accounts or mutual end-user customers Provide ad hoc consulting on Genetec’s products for cross and upsell opportunities Forecast, manage, and report on ongoing sales and pipeline activity Issue Quotes to assigned territory Provide back up and support for local team members ensuring timely response times Actively promote the partner portal by scheduling demonstrations and support calls with members of the Channel Partner Program Track effectiveness of programs and the associated ROI; Monitor trends and then apply those learnings to improve future programs Work closely with suppliers and various departments for special pricing opportunities Communicating regularly with field reps Researching technical information on product requests Updating customer records and forecasting in the CRM for trackingMore about you:
Bachelor’s degree 2-3 years of B2B sales experience for a technology company Experience in the Electronic Security Industry (Video Surveillance, Access Control, LPR, etc.) in Latin America is an asset Excellent English and Spanish communication skills (Portuguese is an asset) Able to articulate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone and in writing Excellent oral and written presentation skills Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills Possesses strong troubleshooting skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an asset) Ability to work with minimal directions and be able to translate broad directives into useful tactics and meaningful activities Ability to work cross functionally and build relationships with core stakeholders Organized, detailed and process oriented Acumen for understanding of complex technology systemsLet’s talk perks!
