We’re especially interested in individuals with experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) and building materials within retail and wholesale channels, including big-box, e-commerce, and trade partners—these backgrounds align well with our omnichannel and customer-first approach to market leadership.

You will play a critical role in shaping go-to-market strategies, elevating brand visibility, and delivering cohesive shopper experiences across retail and digital commerce channels.

Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation.

What you might do in these roles:

Develop and lead retail and e-commerce channel marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive conversion, and deepen customer engagementExecute omnichannel campaigns that connect the customer journey across digital and physical retailCollaborate closely with Product, Sales, Digital, and RGM teams to ensure aligned go-to-market executionSupport or lead channel-specific product launches with tailored positioning, messaging, and marketing assetsBuild trusted relationships with retail and e-commerce partners to co-create marketing campaigns, optimize merchandising, and strengthen category presenceLead or contribute to the development of displays, planograms, retail training tools, and marketing collateralAnalyze performance metrics and retail insights to inform marketing optimization and strategic adjustmentsParticipate in budget planning, allocation, and ROI tracking to support campaign and investment successEngage with peers across FBIN to share best practices and contribute to enterprise-wide channel strategy alignment

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related fieldExperience in channel marketing, shopper marketing, retail merchandising, or omnichannel campaign executionBackground in CPG, building materials, or similar industries involving retail and/or wholesale engagementFamiliarity with digital marketing and e-commerce platformsProficiency in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google AnalyticsStrong project management and communication skills, with a collaborative and results-oriented mindset

Preferred:

MBA or advanced marketing educationExperience managing budget planning, promotions, or product launches across omnichannel environmentsExposure to P&L or trade marketing responsibilitiesExperience working within matrixed organizations or multifunctional teams
