Channel GTM Manager
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and collaborative Channel GTM Manager to lead the go-to-market and channel marketing efforts for Microsoft Surface ASIA. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, enhancing brand visibility, and strengthening relationships with channel partners including distributors, resellers, and alliance partners such as Intel and Qualcomm. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in channel marketing, a strong understanding of the technology landscape, and a passion for delivering impactful partner-led campaigns. ALso preferred is Asia wide market experience - this particular role has a focus on ANZ, India and ASEAN. **Responsibilities** + **Marketing Strategy Development:** Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Surface products through channel partners. + **Build and Maintain Partner Relationships:** Foster strong relationships with channel partners (e.g., distributors & resellers) to understand their needs and expectations. + **Develop and Implement Channel Marketing Plans:** Work closely with channel partners to create and oversee annual channel marketing plans, aligning with overall business objectives and partner strategies. + **Manage Channel COOP & Incentive Programs:** Influence and implement COOP channel incentives and promotions, to drive business metrics and partner profitability. + **Campaign Execution:** Plan, execute, and optimise marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and sales. + **Create Channel-Specific Marketing Materials:** Develop and manage marketing materials like presentations, flyers, webinars, newsletters, and case studies for channel partners tailored to their needs. + **Channel enablement:** Organise and manage events, webinars, and training sessions for channel partners to enable and upskill partner champs, sellers, marketing and business managers. + **Performance Analysis:** Track and analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. + **Budget Management:** Manage ASIA Partner OPEX marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and business impact with desired spend. + **Alliance Partnerships:** Manage and execute alliance partnerships with key technology partners such as Intel and Qualcomm, ensuring alignment and collaboration on joint marketing initiatives. + **Collaborate with Internal Teams:** Work closely with sales, product marketing, customer marketing and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective marketing efforts. + **Track and Analyse Performance:** Monitor and analyse the performance of channel marketing programs, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. + **Gather Market Insights:** Coordinate with channel counterparts to gather market insights, understand partner strategies, and identify new opportunities. + **Ensure Consistent Messaging:** Maintain consistent messaging and branding across all channels and markets to enhance brand awareness and reinforce the Microsoft Surface message. **Qualifications** **Skills** + **Strategic Thinking:** Ability to develop and implement effective Channel marketing strategies. + **Relationship Building:** Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with channel partners. + **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + **Marketing Expertise:** Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices. + **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + **Project Management:** Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organisational skills. + **Creativity:** Ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns and materials. + **Collaboration:** Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with channel partners and internal teams. + **Partnership Management:** Experience in managing and executing alliance partnerships with technology partners. **Qualifications:** + **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. + **Experience:** Minimum of 10 years of experience in channel management, sales, or marketing, preferably in the technology sector. + **Certifications:** Relevant certifications in sales or marketing are advantageous. **Attitude/Culture:** + **Customer-Centric:** Dedicated to understanding and meeting the needs of channel partners and end customers. + **Innovative:** Open to new ideas and approaches, with a willingness to take calculated risks. + **Collaborative:** Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. + **Results-Oriented:** Driven by achieving marketing goals and driving business growth. + **Adaptable:** Flexible and able to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities. + **Integrity:** High ethical standards and a commitment to doing what is right.
