Change Management Specialist (Temp, Part-time)

**Position Summary**
The Change Management Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and execution of change management strategies that drive successful adoption of business and technology initiatives across their assigned business unit. This role partners closely with business leaders, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to new ways of working, supporting the overall transformation goals of Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW). Reporting to the Associate Director of Global Change Management, this role requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to support senior leadership in executing change initiatives.
**Expected Contributions**
+ Support the development and execution of change management deliverables such as stakeholder analyses, change impact assessments, and change plans.
+ Collaborate with project teams and functional leads to align change activities with communications and training partners.
+ Coordinate with business leaders to gather input and ensure change plans address operational needs.
+ Assist in creating and executing strategies to support adoption of project-related changes.
+ Help integrate change management tasks into overall project plans and timelines.
+ Contribute to the implementation and evaluation of change efforts across the assigned business unit.
+ Maintain an understanding of MVW’s strategic priorities, operating models, and how change initiatives align with business objectives.
+ Gather and organize data from multiple sources to support change assessments and planning.
+ Assist in managing relationships with vendors supporting change and learning deliverables.
+ Apply established change management tools and processes to support stakeholder assessments, training and communication plans, change readiness, and user engagement.
+ Support efforts to drive adoption and proficiency of new processes, systems, or organizational changes.
+ Contribute to the development of measurable change goals and assist in tracking progress against those goals.
+ Support structured change management activities across projects and initiatives.
+ Partner with senior change leaders to support organizational design and role alignment efforts.
+ Assist in coordinating and executing business processes or technology-related change initiatives.
+ Conduct initial change impact assessments and identify key stakeholder groups.
+ Help complete change readiness assessments and organize feedback.
+ Coordinate change-related tasks with other specialists across multiple business functions.
+ Help monitor and evaluate user readiness throughout project lifecycles.
+ Track change-related issues and flag risks or areas of concern to project and change leads.
+ Support data collection and reporting for change success metrics and adoption monitoring.
+ Provide tactical support for enterprise or business-unit-level change initiatives.
+ Assist in maintaining documentation and stakeholder tracking tools for ongoing change efforts.
**Candidate Profile**
**Education**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
+ Change Management Certification preferred, but not required.
**Experience**
+ 2+ years of experience in change management, project coordination, or organizational development.
+ Experience supporting enterprise or cross-functional change initiatives.
+ Experience in the timeshare, hospitality, or lodging industry is beneficial; familiarity with MVW is a plus.
**Skills and Attributes**
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
+ Works effectively with cross-functional teams and is responsive to the needs of internal clients.
+ Manages multiple moving parts with accuracy and organization.
+ Writes clearly and professionally; adapts style for different stakeholders and mediums.
+ Able to interpret data and feedback to inform decisions and next steps.
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage timelines and follow-through.
+ Takes initiative to resolve issues and escalate when necessary.
+ Understands and anticipates the needs of business partners and end users.
