Change Lead
The opportunity
As our Change Lead you’ll lead and manage change initiatives within the Talent (HR) Team, driving alignment between transformation goals and project execution. While the primary focus is on change strategy, stakeholder engagement, and communication, the role also includes project management responsibilities to ensure seamless and successful delivery of Talent-related projects.
This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that align with EY Oceania’s goals and assess the impact of changes on EY Oceania and its employees. Identify and engage key stakeholders throughout the change process and foster strong relationships with stakeholders to gain support and buy-in for change initiatives. Develop and deliver communication plans and training programs that facilitate a smooth transition. Monitor the progress of change initiatives and assess effectiveness. Lead specific projects, workstreams or deliverables and support the planning and delivery of Talent-related projects by integrating change activities within broader project timelines.
Skills and attributes for success
Proven in-depth experience in managing end-to-end change, ideally gained from a professional services or complex matrix-style organisational environment, with a strong understanding of change management methodologies and tools. Proven experience in working in project teams and implementing change programs, with the ability to manage multiple large, complex projects, processes, and/or initiatives. Hands-on experience identifying problems at an early stage and solving them, while working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
Formal certification in change management will be considered an advantage. Ability to develop and leverage relationships with various stakeholders to understand change needs, develop appropriate change plans, and ensure effective communication and collaboration. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
