The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for an experienced Change/Configuration Manager to join our team to be responsible for the daily oversight, integration, and governance of the Information Technology Division Change Management Process for an IT office supporting Federal Protective Service (FPS).

The Change/Configuration Manager actively engages with the change management process across multiple stakeholders providing development and operations support of critical applications and systems to ensure that IT staff and ITSM tool sets are equipped for efficient and effective execution of the Management processes. The Change Manager is also responsible for monitoring, measuring, enforcing, and continually improving those processes.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.  The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users. 

As a Change/Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for the defined and agreed Change Management process to ensure it interfaces with all other relevant processes, reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of the process, and managing the process improvement cycle.  You will also, provide on-site support to the government customer to include insightful solutions and assist with determining and implementing both, technical and business goals in consultation with top management, and making detailed plans for the accomplishment of these goals.  


Responsibilities:

Own, manage, and regulate the daily execution of the Information Technology Change Management Process including managing and facilitating Technical Review Board and Configuration Control BoardPlan, execute, control, measure, monitor and report on all configuration management activities impacting FPS business applications and infrastructure systemsManage and execute the software build and release processManage and maintain the Information Technology Division Application Lifecycle Management tools (Service Now CMDB, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint)Document and maintain the Information Technology Division technical baselineOversee the Information Technology Division Change Request processProvide direction across the government and contract for proper resolution of change request issues and foster a common understanding of the Change Management processes scope, applicability, and key sub-processes.Ensure that the Information Technology Division configuration management system supports Agile/SCRUM development processesIdentify and maintain the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation.Track all problems and changes in product documents and software and reports changes and current configuration.Collaborate with developers on materials and updates for applications and systemsProvide subject matter expertise in other meetings and forums, including customer technical meetings


Qualifications:

Required: 

Ability to obtain DoD Security ClearanceAbility to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD preferredBachelors degree or equivalent + 5 years of experience with at least 3 years of experience leading Change / Configuration Management operations in an IT environmentExperience with Change / Configuration Management tools and workflowsAbility to facilitate meetings with Program and Government personnelAbility to work independently or as part of a teamAbility to complete tasks with minimal supervisionExceptional verbal and written communications skillsAble to communicate clearly and professionally with senior customers to field and troubleshooting questions and issueWorks well inside team environment, positive can do attitudeFamiliarity with Agile software development methodology, processes, and techniques.Strong verbal and written communication skillsExtensive knowledge of MS Product Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint)Familiarity with some or all of the following:Service NowJIRAConfluence
