Change and Problem Engineer Jr

Summary

The Change and Problem Resolution Engineer Jr supports coordination and management of product changes and defects requested/reported internally as well as from the customer on multiple independent projects areas such as ADAS and Body Control Modules. In this role you will be working with next generation technology intended to improve vehicle safety while enhancing driver convenience.

Your Role

Supporting Process Group (SUP.9) Problem Resolution Management and (SUP. 10) Change management, as defined by ASPICE V-modelSupport for creation and execution of Problem Resolution Management Plan (PRMP)Support definition and execution of change management strategy.Ensure that change management database is setup and configured.Work with team to ensure proper Design Documentation, Unit Test Case, Validation Test Case, D/PFMEA, Control Plan, other is updated once ticket is closed.Focus on Change Requests on Program / Project / Platform levelEnsure that all external and internal change requests are recorded in the change management database.Identify relationship and dependencies to other change requests.Support the prioritization of change requests within Program / Project / Platform and agree on a target release for implementation.Monitor the change request status and provides change request status report and metrics.

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

Bachelor’s degree in a Technical / Engineering Discipline (electrical, systems, software, or related field of study)Knowledge on ASPICE and V-ModelExperience with Jira, Confluence, and collaboration tools0 to 2 years Problem Management, Change Management, consulting, project management, escalation management and/or technical support experienceAbility to communicate complex ideas effectively verbally and in writing with both customers and internallyStrong customer service with the ability to make good judgments and quick decisionsAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentCritical thinking, decision-making abilityStrong data analytics and report management skills
