Duties

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Provide support for patients with memory care needs, including those with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Assist in the management of patients with critical care needs or those recovering from medical-surgical procedures. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient status and care plans. Document patient information accurately in accordance with medical terminology standards. Support nursing staff in providing care for patients with infectious diseases or specialized needs.

Qualifications

Must be over 18 years old At least 1 year of caregiving experience Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Knowledge of Alzheimer and dementia clients Ability to lift and move patients safely while maintaining proper body mechanics when needed Must have a current TB, Physical, CPR Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening
