Key Responsibilities
Honeywell Industrial Automation has an excellent opportunity\nfor a Sr. Finance Director LATAM of our Industrial Automation Business Unit,\nbased in Mexico City. The position reports to the HPS Chief Financial Officer\nand supports and partners with the VPGM, IA LATAM to execute on the financial\naspects. As you will act as virtual COO to the Organization, business\npartnering with leaders on their financial planning and results, explaining\ndeviations and making recommendations whilst building the financial capabilities\n& expertise of a team. You will also be involved in key customer\nconversations, offerings, and customer analyses.
Business\n Partner. A strong commercial orientation and a proven ability to\n partner with line managers and operating teams to drive and monitor\n performance and to develop strategic plans. S/he will be a strategic\n leader who can impact and change business-level strategy beyond the\n finance area. Possesses change agility and mobilizes others in the\n organization to initiate change. Considers all factors to form the best\n overall solution for the company.
Execution\n and Conviction. Has well-supported views and appropriately\n advocates while being open to ideas of others. Takes personal\n responsibility to ensure full execution.
Drives\n results. Sets clear targets; aligns teams and resources, monitors\n the delivery of results through peers and extended teams.
Ensures\n Financial Compliance and proper Financial Books & Records.\n Embodies a culture of controllership and acts a strong role model for\n compliance and integrity.
Partners\n with the VPGM as a Sr. Finance Director for the region you also\n act in a “COO” capacity to monitor and manage business operations in\n operating reviews, budget and forecast reviews, and performs other\n operational finance duties as required. As a true business partner, this\n person proactively offers insights on continuous improvement of business\n processes and operations.
Leads a\n team of approx. 9 commercial finance professionals regionally. Drives\n performance management and talent planning and development.
Proactively\n develops solutions and marshals the right resources to attain\n short term and long-term financial outcomes.
Lead\n financial planning processes and strategic plan. Manage financial\n risks and opportunities.
Sets\n the Tone. Understands that employees look to Finance for\n indications of business health and provides a realistic, but optimistic\n view. Possesses the self-awareness to monitor and adjust the signals sent\n to the organization (mood, demeanor, mannerisms, the way people are\n treated) to have a positive impact.
YOU MUST HAVE
Significant\n experience as Sr Finance Leader and/or CFO roles, commercial FP&A and\n solid understanding of P&L on a regional matrix environment ideally on\n multinationals.Significant\n experience in the Latin America region.Proven\n track record of building talent bench and driving organizational\n effectiveness & change.Entrepreneurial, agile, resilient mindset.“Best\n in class” communication and influencing skills.Comfortable\n acting as an organization’s COO being a finance leader.A\n change agent with a high degree of personal accountability.Self-motivated,\n driving business initiatives.Ability\n to demonstrate strong financial integrity, focus on controls and forecast\n accuracy.Strong\n technical knowledge of finance systems.Demonstrates\n ability to deliver on complex situations.The\n successful candidate should be very proficient in spotting trends and\n interpreting data. Looks at data from different angles and asks the right\n questions to gain additional insights.WE VALUEStrong\n alignment to our corporate values.Bachelor's\n degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA\n is a plus.Strong\n leadership and management skills.English\n proficiency, Spanish and Portuguese desired.
