Description We are looking for a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of a successful organization in Rochester, New York. In this key leadership role, you will play an instrumental part in driving growth, managing risks, overseeing financial planning, and leading mergers and acquisitions. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement long-term financial strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives. • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors. • Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and legal risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. • Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration efforts for acquisitions and joint ventures. • Manage and negotiate the financial aspects of contracts, including construction and development agreements. • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and reporting. • Establish and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and other financial stakeholders. • Evaluate and execute investment opportunities and capital allocation strategies to support business growth. • Drive the implementation of systems and processes that enhance financial efficiency and transparency. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • At least 10 years of senior-level financial leadership experience, preferably within real estate or construction industries. • Proven expertise in strategic financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management. • Deep understanding of construction contracts, development financing, and real estate market dynamics. • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. • Demonstrated ability to oversee financial operations and implement effective financial systems. • Experience managing relationships with financial institutions and external stakeholders.
