Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and operations of the organization, ensuring fiscal health and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial management, accounting, and strategic planning to support our mission-driven initiatives. Responsibilities: • Lead the development and execution of the organization's financial strategy to ensure alignment with long-term goals. • Oversee all accounting functions, including auditing, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards. • Manage budget planning processes and ensure effective allocation of resources. • Conduct detailed cash flow analysis to support operational decision-making. • Supervise grant accounting activities and ensure proper financial tracking and reporting. • Prepare and present accurate financial statements to stakeholders and the board. • Implement advanced financial technologies to optimize efficiency and reporting. • Collaborate with leadership to provide strategic insights and recommendations for growth. • Support housing programs by ensuring financial systems align with service delivery needs. • Monitor financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
