Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy and operations of our non-profit organization in West Des Moines, Iowa. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of non-profit financial management, strategic planning, and leadership to drive long-term success. This is a key executive role requiring a proven track record in fostering growth and delivering financial excellence. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement strategic financial plans that align with organizational goals. • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements to ensure compliance and transparency. • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to guide decision-making and resource allocation. • Lead financial reporting efforts, including audits and board presentations. • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Provide insights and recommendations to support business strategy and growth. • Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. • Collaborate with other executives to drive organizational success. Requirements • Extensive experience in financial leadership roles, preferably as a CFO. • Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting, auditing, and compliance. • Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. • Proven ability to prepare detailed financial statements and reports. • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities. • Adept at presenting financial insights to boards and executive teams. • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred. • Demonstrated success in driving business strategy and achieving financial goals.
