Description We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and oversee the financial operations of our healthcare organization in Richmond, Virginia. This role is critical in ensuring the organization's fiscal health, driving strategic goals, and aligning financial decisions with the mission of providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial leadership, risk management, and collaboration with key stakeholders. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies that support the organization's long-term growth and mission. • Conduct detailed financial forecasting and modeling to ensure sustainability and identify growth opportunities. • Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate financial priorities into organizational planning. • Assess and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the organization is prepared for economic challenges. • Manage insurance coverage, including liability and malpractice, to safeguard organizational assets. • Oversee capital expenditures and ensure investments align with strategic objectives. • Partner with clinical and administrative leaders to balance financial decisions with patient care priorities. • Lead and mentor finance teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. • Represent the organization in financial discussions with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and government officials. • Identify and evaluate investment opportunities to drive financial growth and stability. Requirements • Extensive experience in financial leadership, preferably within the healthcare industry. • Proven expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and risk management. • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Knowledge of health insurance, liability coverage, and compliance requirements. • Demonstrated success in annual financial reporting and presenting insights to boards or leadership teams. • Proficiency in managing payroll and overseeing capital expenditures. • Effective communication skills to convey financial strategies and impacts to diverse audiences. • Ability to lead and inspire finance teams to achieve organizational goals.
