Description
We are looking for an experienced CFO to oversee and manage the financial operations of a dynamic family office and private equity firm. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a proven track record in financial management, and the ability to cultivate relationships that drive organizational success. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to long-term business growth while potentially advancing to a CEO position. Previous agriculture experience is required for this role. Relocation assistance is also available.
Responsibilities:
• Direct and oversee all financial and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage month-end financial reporting processes to deliver timely and reliable insights.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors and partners.
• Respond to inbound inquiries with professionalism and efficiency, offering solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Provide strategic guidance on alternative investments and private equity opportunities.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support organizational growth and stability.
• Foster long-term relationships with key industry players to enhance business opportunities.
• Evaluate financial performance and identify areas for improvement to optimize profitability.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive strategic initiatives and achieve business objectives.
Requirements • Minimum of 20 years of experience in financial management, with demonstrated stability in previous roles.
• Proven expertise in overseeing finance and accounting operations within a family office or private equity environment.
• Strong background in alternative investments and private equity.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to maintain and expand networks.
• Proficiency in managing month-end financial processes and delivering accurate reports.
• Strategic thinking and leadership capabilities to drive business growth.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to commit to long-term organizational goals, including potential advancement to a CEO role.
