Job Description SummaryLEAP Services is one of the most consequential product lines for GE Aerospace, experiencing exponential growth as we aim to become the company’s largest revenue stream. Operating at a startup pace, we leverage FLIGHT DECK to make informed decisions that impact both immediate results and long-term outcomes. As part of a 50-50 joint venture with our French-based partner, we balance complexity with opportunity to drive success.

We are seeking a high-potential, strategic thinker who can partner across the enterprise to deliver clear execution on outcomes that optimize business plan returns. This CFO role serves as the finance executive for all aspects of LEAP Services, supporting the LEAP Services General Manager and ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of product line financials. The CFO will partner with the GM to drive product line strategy, manage risk/reward, support commercial actions and customer solutions, and enhance profitability. Additionally, this role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of compliance and controllership. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and a deep understanding of the aftermarket business model, market dynamics, and operating a joint venture.

Job Description

Leadership: Develop, lead, and promote a global team of 12 finance professionals.

Financial Management: Drive accurate financial reporting and utilize insights to inform operational actions.

Forecasting & Performance: Provide forecasting insights and drive performance through collaboration with operational peers (Supply Chain, MRO, Sales, Customer Experience).

Commercial Strategy: Represent finance in commercial proposals, negotiations, and cross-functional strategy efforts.

Process Development: Establish scalable business processes to support new services, products, and changes in JV and network partner arrangements.

Compliance & Controllership: Maintain the highest standards of compliance, controllership, and rigor within the platform, including oversight of the Contract Margin Review (CMR) process.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of finance experience, including operational, commercial, FP&A, and accounting roles.

Desired Characteristics

Passion for the aerospace industry.

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes.

Proven ability to develop talent within and outside of finance.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and promotion of FLIGHT DECK principles.

Experience with ITO to OTR commercial contract processes.

Understanding of commercial services revenue streams.

Knowledge of LEAP investor anchor points and their implications for GE’s valuation.

Conversational French is a plus!
