Position Skills: Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms Perform basic eye tests: Schirmer tear tes (STT), Fluorescein Stain (F-test), and Tonometry Laboratory procedures: Running Idexx analyzers for chemistry and CBC's, COPLOW/IDEXX Submissions Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring Position Requirements: Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
