Nursing homes, like Madonna Ptak Morton Plant Rehabilitation Center, with 5 stars are considered to have much above average quality and performance based on three areas: health inspections, staffing and quality of resident care measures. **"Unlock Your Career Potential: Join our Team of Rehab Services Techs and Enjoy our Outstanding Benefits!"** + Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision) + Paid time off + Tuition reimbursement + 401k match and additional yearly contribution + Yearly performance appraisals and team award bonus + Community discounts + **AND the chance to be part of an amazing team and a great place to work!** **Certified Rehab Services Tech Responsibilities:** + Help patients with exercises and activities prescribed by physical and occupational therapists. + Assist patients with mobility, including transferring, walking, and positioning. + Ensure patient comfort and safety during rehabilitation sessions. + Observe and report any changes in a patient’s condition or response to therapy. + Document patient progress and communicate with the rehabilitation team. + Set up equipment needed for physical or occupational therapy. + Assist with therapeutic modalities (e.g., heat/cold packs, ultrasound therapy). + Clean and maintain therapy equipment. + Provide emotional support to patients, helping to reduce anxiety or discomfort during therapy. + Educate patients and their families on exercises or strategies to continue therapy at home. + Assist patients with daily activities such as eating, dressing, and personal hygiene, ensuring they stay as independent as possible. + Help patients improve their strength and mobility by encouraging participation in prescribed exercises. + Communicate effectively with the rehabilitation team to ensure coordinated care. + Report any concerns regarding patient safety or progress to the supervising therapist or nurse. + Adhere to care plans developed by rehabilitation professionals to ensure therapy goals are met. + **Maintain Clean and Safe Environment:** + Ensure that therapy areas and patient rooms are clean, safe, and free from hazards. **Requirements:** + High School or Equivalent + Required - CNA (Nursing Assistant) + BLS (Basic Life Support) + Preferred 1 year Rehab and/or related field **Facility:** BayCare Health System, Physical Therapy-MP REHAB **Location:** **Morton Plant Rehab - Clearwater, FL** **Status:** **Full** **Time, Exempt: No** **Shift Hours:** **7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m./Days** **Weekend Work:** **Every** **Other** **On Call:** **No** How often will this team member be working remotely?
