Responsibilities

All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. The person doing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost-effective manner. Under the general supervision of the Director of Surgical Services, the Sterile Processing Technician will provide the hospital and affiliated facilities with purchased and reprocessed materials and equipment ensuring a quality product for patient care by following established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and distribution.

Qualifications
Three or more years Sterile Processing knowledge of surgical instrumentation. To perform successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Certified Central Service Tech certification required (CRCST)

Fire Safety Certification

High school graduate preferred.
