These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.

KBR is looking for multiple Certified Professional Engineers to be the Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the following disciplines: Mechanical, Piping, Chemical or Process, Instrumentation or Control Systems, & Electrical to support major projects.  This SME will need to be certified through the US, Canada, or Australia and have extensive experience within the Oil & Gas or Fertilizer Industry.

Responsibilities:

Perform all conventional aspects of engineering for their disciplineWork as part of a team and show leadership capabilities managing areas or systems within projectsDevelop and implement engineering solutions based on technical specificationsCreate and review design drawings, calculations, specifications, and reportsConduct analysis on data and present findings to the teamInterpret aligning respective regulatory compliances and guide the team to develop a competitive designCollaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project success

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Piping, Chemical or Process, Instrumentation or Control Systems, or Electrical)10 + years of directly related experienceProven ability with engineering design – FEED and Detail EngineeringField experienceProfessional Engineer Certified from the US (Louisiana or Texas), Canada, or Australia required in one of the following:MechanicalPipingChemical or ProcessInstrumentation or Control SystemsElectricalExpertise with engineering software and toolsMust be proficient with regulatory requirements and standards for the engineering industry
