Job Description

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our insurance company, focusing on Medicare and Medicaid patients. The role involves managing the intake of MedPharma prior authorizations, setting up prior authorizations in the system, and sending them to review technicians. Initially, the focus will be on intake processes, with training provided for review tasks. This position requires extensive reading and proficiency in using Microsoft suite to understand insurance criteria and standard operating procedures.

This is a 100% remote position requiring work in a closed-door setting with limited distractions, in compliance with HIPAA standards. Strong Wi-Fi connectivity is essential. The role offers a flexible schedule with holidays rotating among team members once fully trained. Lunch breaks vary between 30 minutes to one hour. Initial training lasts 4-6 weeks, Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM EST. Post-training, preferred schedules are Sunday-Thursday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM or 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM EST, and Tuesday-Saturday from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM EST, with Saturday hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
