SUMMARY:
Provides proper patient care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides and/or assists the resident in bathing and all other ADL’s as per care plan.Maintains appropriate toileting/bowel regimens as per individualized care planning.Assists with feeding residents, tray distribution, and recording of intakes as per policy..Responds to resident requests in a timely manner.Distributes nourishments and fluids, assists resident and records intake appropriately.Provides physical assistance to residents for daily needs.Provides designated exercises and repositioning for the residents.Maintains required documentation and food/fluid records in a timely manner.Receives/gives report to team members/team leaders at the stipulated time with all information complied.Assists in maintaining resident equipment and environment in a neat clean manner, assuring process
 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

CNA registered in NYS.
 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Ability to read, write and speak English, ability to follow verbal and written instruction.Some experience working with people.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
