Both Saint Mary Home and The McAuley offer a wide variety of cultural, educational, social and spiritual programs and activities to capture diverse interests and needs._** **What to expect as a Wellness Assistant at The McAuley** As a Wellness Assistant, your responsibilities extend beyond care – it's a commitment to enhancing lives. You will support residents with their daily living activities, focusing on those with chronic and stable conditions. **Requirements:** + C.NA Certificate in the State of Connecticut + HS Diploma or equivalent + Home health care experience preferred ** This role involves lifting, carrying, and assisting with residents up to 250 pounds, standing or walking for most of an eight-hour shift, and performing tasks requiring hand-eye coordination. It also requires wearing protective equipment, distinguishing sounds, reaching or bending for items, reading small print, and maintaining clear communication.
