Overview We are seeking a Definitive Observation Unit CNA , also ref erred to DOU Certified Nursing Assistant, Step-Down Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Progressive Care C NA in our Definitive Observation Unit (DOU) . This role involves providing direct patient care to individuals who require closer monitoring than on a regular med-surg floor but are not critical enough for the ICU in our DOU . You must have:  + Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required. + Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current. + Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology + Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician?s office preferred.
