Certified Nurse Aide-PCU-Part-Time

I.Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required

High school graduate or equivalent.Current Kentucky Nurse Aid Certification required or successful completion of Fundamentals of nursing-(first semester)-in an accredited Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education.Certifications based on unit worked:BLSLTACNA Patient DeteriorationPossess basic knowledge of medical terminology

II.Skills and Abilities Required

Ability to identify the scope of practice issues, prioritization, critical thinking, effective decision making, communication, interpersonal relationship skills, delegation and team leading skills consistent with the level of professional growth. Adheres to specific hospital policy and procedures.
