Certified Medical Assistant (CMA),Starr Ortho
Job Type:Full-time,DayShift
Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:
* Under the supervision of physician or nurse,assistswith performing patient assessments and treatments.
* Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given.
* Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.
* Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

Minimum EducationHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is required
Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program is preferred
Required LicensesCurrent RMA / CMA / NCMA or CCMA Certification issued by the credentialing body of the AAMA / ARMAL/NHA is required
*Certifications:*The below certifications will be required at the time of hire:Basic Life Support (BLS)
