Qualifications Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program. Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge. Preferred Job Requirements: Associate’s degree. 1+ years’ experience in a hospital or physician practice setting. Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
