Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in a dynamic oncology setting. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care by efficiently managing patient rooming and recording vital signs. This position offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and professional development.

ResponsibilitiesRoom patients and manage patient flow efficiently.Record patient vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.Stock and maintain exam/treatment rooms and order necessary supplies.Essential Skills2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.Certification as a Medical Assistant.Proficiency in oncology, medical assisting, and customer service.Ability to perform manual blood pressure checks as needed.Experience with medical terminology, administrative skills, phlebotomy, and electronic medical records.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with electronic health records.Experience in a fast-paced medical environment.Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 5 PM, or until the last patient is seen, with no weekend shifts. You will not be tied to a specific provider, but will function as a general front-end Medical Assistant. On Mondays and Fridays, the work location is The Woodlands, TX, while from Tuesday to Thursday, it is Conroe, TX. There is an option for reimbursement if travel outside of assigned clinics is required. Our culture emphasizes team building, open communication, and long-term growth opportunities. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tomball, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
