Job Summary Certified Medical Assistant Location: Winston-Salem NC Department: Cardiology Clinic Employment Type: Full-Time / Mon-Fri 8am-5pm About the Role: Novant Health is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to coordinate and assist healthcare providers in delivering safe, quality, and cost-effective care to our diverse patient population. This role emphasizes teamwork, community involvement, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion, ensuring that every patient receives remarkable care in every interaction. ✅ What You’ll be doing: Rooming Patients Assist providers during exams and procedures (EKG's) Take vital signs, obtain medical histories Prepare patients and exam rooms for treatment Not Responsible for Labs No In Basket No Calls What we’re looking for: Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Medical Assistant Program: Graduate from an accredited program including pharmacology and medication administration. Certification: Current certification as CMA, RMA, or CCMA, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Experience: Previous work in a Dermatology Office is preferred but not required. Skills: Ability to successfully complete skills validation and competency testing. Language: Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
