Job Title: Part-Time Medical Assistant

Monday, Thursday, Friday Shifts

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to provide exceptional care to patients in our sports medicine office. You will be responsible for updating patient information, assisting with back office functions, and ensuring smooth patient intakes and room loading.

ResponsibilitiesProvide compassionate care to patients in a sports medicine setting.Update patient information, including family histories and previous visit notes.Perform vital checks and medication reconciliation.Prepare charts and patient rooms prior to visits.Complete prior authorizations and restock rooms and supply closets.Manage inventory and triage phone calls for physician or patient questions.Update electronic medical records using EPIC.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year experience as a medical assistant.Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with an accredited diploma from a Medical Assistant school.Proficient in patient care and medical assisting.Additional Skills & QualificationsComfortable working in a fast-paced sports medicine practice.Experience with pediatric care is advantageous.Familiarity with athena and EPIC software systems.Work Environment

This role is based in a high-volume sports medicine office where you will work alongside five physicians and other medical assistants. On average, they will see 80-100 patients per day.

Monday⏰ 7:30 AM – 6:00 PMThursday⏰ 7:30 AM – 5:00 PMFriday⏰ 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
