What you'll do as Certified Medical Assistant

Prepare exam rooms and assist physician during examinationsTake and record vital signs, medical history, and paitent concernsSterilize instruments and maintain a clean clinical environmentEducate patients on procedures, medications and general health topicsSchedule patient appointments and manage medical records


Work Experience

The preferred candidate might:

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant programCurrent CMA certification (AAMA, NHA, or equivalent)Minimum of 5 years experience as a Medical AssistantCurrent Medical Assistant certificationStrong communication and organizational skillsProficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
