Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant for a primary care clinic. The individual will be responsible for managing the customer flow throughout the clinic and assisting providers in the management and treatment of patients from varying age demographics. The role involves receiving direction and collaborating with the Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager, and Providers to meet the defined goals of the customer, shift, department, and organization. Effective communication with the healthcare team regarding progress, concerns, questions, or problems is essential.

ResponsibilitiesManage customer flow throughout the clinic.Assist providers in the management and treatment of patients.Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient progress, concerns, questions, or problems.Perform triage and rooming of patients.Take and record patient vitals and medical history.Conduct assessments as needed.Essential SkillsCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly Epic.Phlebotomy skills.Ability to perform triage and room patients.Competence in taking vitals and conducting assessments.RMA certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC.Additional Skills & QualificationsMedical Assistant Diploma from a nationally recognized program.Work Environment

The position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend or on-call duties. The clinic provides a professional and collaborative environment focused on patient care.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $54080.00/yr.
