Experience Required

Responsible for setting up the patient in the exam room Perform and Document:Vital signs (manual BPs), EKGs, Reconciliation of medicationsReason for visit, health care concernInterview/Discuss with patient changes in patient’s health since last visitAssist the provider with minor surgical proceduresPrepare appropriate medications for injectionsResponsible for phone messages, faxes, and Medical Reception responsibilities as neededKnowledge of medical insurance terminology, computer skills for scheduling and familiarity of general office procedures and equipment
Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent, required
Special Requirements

1-3 years of prior experience in ambulatory care preferredAbility to handle high volume of interactions with frequent interruptions
