Your work environment at EXP
EXP Services Inc. is currently looking for an experienced Certified Industrial Hygienist to join our engineering team in our London, ON office. Reporting to the the regional manager of the hazardous materials dvivision, the successful applicant will provide appropriate technical services for those projects to which they have been assigned.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
Provide Industrial Hygiene Consulting Services including but not limited to:
•Develop and/or grow client base within the Industrial Hygiene Field in the South Western Ontario. Experience within the area and existing clientele will be considered an asset.
• Project Management of hygiene related projects from proposal to completion.
• Manage scheduled deliverables including site reviews, technical reporting, analytical data interpretation, and all related clientele and contractor communications.
• Conduct surveys including but not limited to IAQ, radon gas, radiation noise assessments, as well as any other hazardous substances or related safety concerns.
• Applicant must be proficient in substance sampling, use hygiene sampling equipment, interpretation of analytical data and technical reporting and working gin industrial environments.
• Design and completion of training programs for various clientele and internal staff.
• Design implementation of hygiene and safety related plans for clientele.
• Supervise field technicians and provide support and training where required.
• Development and issuance of standard operating procedures to all staff within the hygiene group.
• Prepare proposals, budgets and provide contract administration services for hygiene projects.
• Training and mentoring of junior staff.
• Any other duties as may be assigned to you from time to time
What your experience looks like
•Minimum of 3-5 years related experience is preferred
•Diploma/degree in a related field of study such as Industrial Hygiene or Occupational Health & Safety
•A valid driver’s license with own vehicle and travel throughout Southwestern Ontario is required
•Has their Industrial or Occupational Hygienist (CIH or ROH) certification (required)
•Knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office
