All while understanding thattogetherwe are even better. **Schedule:** Full time **Shift** :Days **Th** **e community youll be caring for:** AdventHealth North Pinellas **The** **role youll contribute:** Under the direction of the Director of Inpatient Rehab and Wound Care, the Hyperbaric Technician administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Physician. Operates and maintains the hyperbaric chamber(s) and associated systems and equipment. Accompanies patients in the chamber while undergoing hyperbaric oxygen therapy, when deemed necessary by the Medical Director. Assists in the delivery of patient care appropriate to the level of his/her medical training. The Hyperbaric Technician is responsible for maintaining and educating the department with the most current applicable safety guidelines as dictated by the regulating bodies (i.e. NFPA 99). Key representative for the hyperbaric chambers as it relates to safety, maintenance, chamber system compliance, problem solving, department education. Qualifications **The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:** High School Grad or Equiv Required or Technical/Vocational School Required. 1 years Preferred. Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) Required or PARAMEDIC - Paramedic Licensed Required. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required.
