Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide essential in-home support for children. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about pediatric care and committed to supporting children and their families in a home environment. The CHHA will work closely with the child/children to ensure safety, comfort, and developmental engagement.

Responsibilities

Assist children with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, tailored to their developmental needs.

Provide companionship and a nurturing presence to children, fostering emotional well-being.

Monitor the child's health status and promptly report any concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.

Perform light housekeeping duties related to the child’s care, such as cleaning up play areas, laundry, and meal prep.

Engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.

Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, child’s behavior, and any changes in condition.

Requirements

Current CHHA license in New Jersey .

Previous experience in pediatric or childcare settings preferred.

Familiarity with caring for children with developmental delays, physical disabilities, or chronic medical conditions is a plus.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with both children and their families.

Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.

Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray, updated physical 

Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends if needed.
