Provides safe, efficient and optimal programming of implanted cardiac devices. Identifies and interprets complex arrhythmias, device behaviors and device diagnostics. Performs focused clinical assessment of the implanted cardiac device patient including procedural history, interval history and assesses response to implanted cardiac device therapy including wound assessment, documents appropriately and accurately. Identifies and addresses sub-optimal programming, abnormal findings and/or arrhythmias. Provides complex implanted cardiac device education and serves as a resource for patients, families, and health care professionals within and outside of organization. Assists with set up, monitoring, troubleshooting and patient teaching of implanted cardiac device home monitoring equipment from multiple device manufacturers. Participates in implanted cardiac device related research studies. Triages device related calls and arranges emergent, urgent and routine appointments. *Minimum Qualifications* *Education* High school diploma or equivalent Associate’s degree (Preferred) *Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education. *Required Skills * Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
