Responsibilities
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) oversees the strategic, operational, and financial success of a Management Services Organization (MSO) and affiliated physician practices and surgical centers. The CEO is accountable for executing short- and long-term growth strategies, ensuring clinical excellence, managing partnerships, and driving operational performance across the organization. Collaborating closely with executive boards, clinical teams, and healthcare partners, the CEO fosters a culture rooted in transparency, learning, and patient-centered care.
This is not a remote position. The role requires an in-person presence at our Exton, PA office and includes regular travel throughout the region to support our various office locations.
Strategic Leadership
+ Develop and execute strategic business plans for physician practices, surgical facilities, and ancillary services
+ Lead organizational growth initiatives, including service line expansion, physician recruitment, and market development
+ Collaborate with executive boards and governing bodies to define goals and performance standards
Operational Excellence
+ Ensure consistent implementation of workflow procedures and business processes to reduce variation and operational cost
+ Oversee center operations in compliance with clinical, legal, and accrediting standards, including life safety codes and environment of care
+ Standardize performance metrics reporting and implement improvement plans across clinical, operational, and financial domains
Financial Oversight
+ Lead annual budgeting processes, P&L management, and financial controls
+ Optimize revenue cycle, supply chain, and vendor/payor contracting
+ Assess and execute key investments, cost-saving initiatives, and value-based care strategies
Team Development & Culture
+ Build and mentor high-performing management and clinical teams
+ Champion patient safety and zero harm initiatives through clinical quality standardization
+ Foster high levels of employee engagement, MD shareholder satisfaction, and retention
Stakeholder Engagement
+ Cultivate strong physician relationships, community partnerships, and payer/employer collaborations
+ Act as liaison to internal boards and external constituents including government and healthcare organizations
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field required. Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field preferred
+ 10+ years of relevant experience including 5 years’ experience managing physician practice
+ Demonstrated success overseeing MSO or large-scale healthcare delivery systems
+ Expertise in financial performance management, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth
+ Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
