This position requires medical terminology, excellent phone skills, typing 35 wpm, and excellent customer service skills. Working knowledge of physician practice and a good understanding of radiology procedures or scheduling experience is required. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** + Scheduling patients for Outpatient Radiology, Cardiology and other hospital procedures + Collecting and verifying demographic, insurance and relevant clinical information + Verifying accuracy of order and scanning into medical record + Calling patients to complete appointment scheduling + Demonstrate and promote high standards for quality and productivity + Work collaboratively with Pre-Access Center team members to ensure a positive patient experience **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** **Minimum qualifications** : · High school diploma or equivalent · 1 year of position-related experience **Preferred qualifications:** · Associate’s degree or graduate of a technical school · Medical Assistant OR · Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) OR · Kansas Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
