This Position reports to:
Finance Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive audit operations that provide guidance on financial accuracy, internal controls, and regulatory compliance for ABB’s global entities. As part of the Statutory Compliance Services Team, acting as ABB’s Global Center of Excellence (COE), you will play a central role in elevating the quality and consistency of statutory reporting and audit processes across the organization. Each day, you will leverage a systematic and disciplined approach to examine financial records and procedures, reporting with the goal of improving operating practices, financial transparency, and risk management processes. Your expertise will be essential in supporting the development and implementation of comprehensive audit strategies that align with ABB’s global goals and compliance standards. As a Central Audit Process Leader, you will be responsible for driving excellence across statutory compliance, helping shape ABB’s audit framework, and contributing to our growth trajectory. This role is contributing to the Statutory Compliance Manager in Łódź, Poland. Main stakeholders are internal statutory compliance teams, external auditors, global finance functions, and ABB business units.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing and leading end-to-end audit delivery processes for statutory and US GAAP purposes
Managing a team of Audit Coordinators across R2R, P2P, and O2C process areas
Planning, prioritizing, and allocating resources while coordinating timelines with auditors, statutory controllers, and process leaders
Designing, implementing, and continuously improving audit delivery processes to enhance efficiency and compliance
Performing quality reviews of audit documentation and reporting process status to all stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment
Identifying and managing risks and issues within and beyond the defined audit scope, including escalation and resolution
Leading development of corrective actions and problem-solving activities related to audit quality and process effectiveness
Designing and delivering training programs using blended learning methods to build audit process capabilities
Promoting and embedding accounting and reporting best practices across the organization
Collaborating with GPO to support implementation of tools, procedures, and policies in O2C, R2R, and P2P areas to enable audit automation

Qualifications:
You are highly skilled in SAP and audit methodologies, and enjoy working with the global shared services (SSC) market
You have at least 5 years of experience in audit departments, with deep understanding of O2C, R2R, and P2P processes
Highly adept in SAP and possess strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and statutory compliance requirements
You are passionate about problem-solving and are innovative around time management and prioritization
Have a demonstrated track record in working under time pressure and managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
Extensive knowledge of risk assessment, mitigation planning, and audit process improvement in a matrixed organization
Proven experience of collaborating across geographically distributed teams and supporting global audit initiatives
Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
You are at ease communicating in English
You hold current VISA/work permit valid in Poland
