Your role.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Assisting with data entry in firm tax applications Data maintenance and updates in tax due date system Managing staff requests related to the tax due date system E-filing extensions and tax returns through the electronic filing software and troubleshooting issues as they arise Providing support to internal Firm clients using a customer-service mindset with a sense of urgency, while maintaining accuracy and having pride in your work Assist/backup other team members when needed Participating in system clean-up projects, as needed Assisting with some administrative projects (some complex), for a team or industry group, primarily related to a specific organizational function, as needed Delivering the highest quality of service using superior comprehension skills, responsiveness, empathy, confidence, and professionalism Interacting with both in-office and remote staff in various time zones Managing and taking ownership of workload and accepting additional client requests with a positive attitude Ability to adapt and work within multiple applications Responsible for frequent communications with all levels in the organizationThe qualifications.
1 year of administrative experience preferred HS Diploma or GED equivalent required. Higher level of education/college coursework preferred Proven organizational and time management skills with great attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced atmosphere; perform well under uncertain or unstructured conditions (pressure); self-driven within a deadline-oriented environment Superior oral and written communication skills and a focus on client service, together with the ability to exercise independent judgment Solid technical proficiency and knowledge of MS Office applications (particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook) Capacity to work within a team environment and assist peers as needed Ability to work overtime, if requiredOur difference.
