MAIN JOB PURPOSE
A brand and marketing finance role under the Center of Excellence team (COE) whose primary responsibility is to manage the financial aspects of marketing and media initiatives to ensure optimal resource allocation and drive business growth, this includes partnering with Business Units and Business Unit Finance teams in providing efficient budgeting tools, accurate forecasting, financial analysis and performance tracking, while also contributing to strategic planning and campaign development.
JOB SUMMARY
Regularly engage with marketing and media teams to ensure brand and media monies are within budget and flag any over/underspending.
Prepare accurate monthly forecast of advertising spending and a bridge analysis for cycle-on-cycle movements.
Lead the BMI Finance Controlling processes (for Advertising) including accrual reviews, provision ageing, spend trends, writeback analytics.
Support BU Finance in cost savings and budget optimization initiatives.
Supports the development of BMI investment plans and drive implementation.
Engage with Finance teams by resolving key issues around audit concerns and operation improvements.
Lead or assist in COE process improvement projects and landing of new ways of working new BMI tools.
Implement any accounting and reporting changes as mandated by local or global controlling teams.
Member of the Finance Center of Excellence (COE) Team and role reports to the PH TTS & BMI Budget Controls Manager.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
At least 1-2 years of significant Finance Business operation experience (preferably with Sales and/or Marketing Finance).
Experience in driving P&L performance improvements and identification of risks/controls and opportunities on growth and profit delivery
Resilient, able to cope with time pressure and challenges, and with superior project and time management skills
Knowledge in SAP, PPM & Blackline is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Business Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Power BI, Flow)
