Applications are invited for the abovementioned position based in Supply Chain, JC Le Roux, Stellenbosch.

The successful applicant will report to the Operations Manager

 

Key Performance Indicators would include, but are not limited to:

 

Responsible for planning and degorging of sparkling wine  Responsible for preparation of sparkling wine Responsible for receiving and despatch of products and other additives Responsible for the setup and management of degorgment line and maintenance Capturing of all production, transfer, receiving and despatch information on SAP Minimising losses and write–offs Perform adjustments and settings on equipment as required Perform minor running repairs Perform all specified preventative maintenance tasks Perform basic fault-finding Record all breakdowns and provide feedback on causes and corrective action taken Active co-ordination of TPM in the production area Manage housekeeping and safety and maintaining 5S standards Managing and supervising cellar and DGO staff and ensuring that the set targets for our KPI’s are met. Tasting of Line checks and Finals at the Quality Laboratory Involve with internal and safety, hygiene and quality audits Implement and maintain TPM, FSSC quality and environmental management system

The successful candidate must preferably have the following experience / skills

A relevant tertiary qualification in Cellar Technology and/or N4 technical qualification At least 1-3 years relevant cellar working experience At least 1-3 years relevant production line working experience Experience in managing and leading a team is essential Computer literate in MS Office Suite Ability to work independently, identify and solve problems and make relevant decisions Ability to work under pressure and display good attention to detail Be self-motivated and action driven Be a team player and innovator Sound leadership and conflict handling experience Valid driver’s license (Code 08)
